Kick-off Conference

After the completed concept note, materials, documents, and participant’s invitation, the Kick-off conference was conducted on 02nd July, 2014. This event was organized at Cambodiana Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in the purpose for opening the project and starting to implement the project activities. In particular, the Kick-off conference was to spread out the information of the project period and project activity to the relationship organizations or partners.

In this conference, there were 94 people including 38 women from different sectors who participated in this conference. So, 54 participants including 17 women came from CLC and its affiliates, 16 participants including 10 women from different organizations such as youths, gender, and organizations that is working on social movement and labour rights, 21 press agents including 2 women from different radios, newspapers and TVs, 1 women from EU Delegation, 01 male from CNV-I and 01 male from Representative of Dutch Embassy in Thailand.

This event was happened for a half day. During the conference, the presentation of the project activity and panel discussion were conducted. Many interesting topics had been shared and asked the questions from the participants to the speakers.
