ILO Convention 29, 105

On 28th October, 2014 at CLC has conducted the training of ILO Convention 29, 105 at CLC office meeting room in a full day. There are 23 participants and 5 female who come from 09 unions which they are the union leader and activist. The purpose of training is focus on to increase the knowledge, build capacity and skills on labour force and resolution, take action on the prevention about violation of the force labor at the work place.

Mr. Been Channy, Project officer of CLC who is a representative of Mr. Kong Athit, General Secretary of CLC has introduce about CLC and EU project to participant, and CNV-I to provide capacity building, the importance of ILO convention training. This training prepare by Mr. Prit Souot, Legal Officer that focus on force Labour, Current situation of force Labour in Cambodia, and strategy of force labour resolution, the kind of force labour, CBA, and Negotiation. Mr. Chhon Rinda, President of CEWISU is a speaker to shared experience on Force labour, CBA, Negotiation in Cambodia.

Concluding: Finally, this training have successful, the participant has understanding on ILO conventiontraining of force labour, labour right, human right, and negotiation. They have learned more of the case study from the speaker shared, and they are very active in sharing and asking the question. Most of them
