ILO Convention 87, 98 Training

Depending on the financial support from EU who provided to CLC by CNV-I, Cambodia Conferderation has conduted a training of ILO convention 87, 98. So on 27th October, 2014 in CLC room meeting for full day with 24 participant and 4 female. This training aim to increase the knowledge to union leader, activism on right of associate, capacity building to organizer, improve the negotiation skill and social dialogued. In this training we also have the internal and external expert to presentation and sharing experience to participant. This training are facilitated by Mr. Prit Souot, Legal Officer of CLC  that he focus on Constrains of implementation on right to freedoms of association and right to organize, right to freedom of association in Cambodia.

Mr. Nuon Rithy, Labour right of free land consultant has shared the experience on trade union on organizing and CBA negotiation in Cambodia. He focuses on Back Ground of ILO, Convention and Recommendation, Convention 87 (1948) on freedom of professional and right protection to create the professional organization, and Convention 98 (1949) on the right to create the professional organization and negotiation.

Result: This training is very success, all participant come with the expectation. They are active to sharing and ask question to speaker. The speaker both internal and external expert are very good and strong in presentation and sharing. They have full knowledge to provide participant and they are reply all the question of participant so fast. This training is good in time management.
